About The Position

Pritchard Industries is seeking a Custodian to perform building maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the building and facilities healthy, safe, and sanitary. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous tasks. The ideal candidate has a professional attitude and appearance and is self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from a supervisor and complete tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional attitude and appearance; self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning experience.
• Janitor experience; training is available.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
• Remove trash.
• Clean restrooms and break rooms.
• Perform other miscellaneous building maintenance and cleaning duties to maintain a healthy, safe, and sanitary facility.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks effectively.
• Use an auto scrubber machine.
• Set up for events.
