About The Position

The Custodian position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure the premises are well-maintained and presentable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with specialized cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a workplace environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
