About The Position

RAM Mounts is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and order throughout its Seattle premises. The role works across production areas, breakrooms, restrooms, common spaces, kitchens, and the lobby, using cleaning equipment and agents safely and effectively. The custodian works independently with minimal supervision and collaborates with maintenance and facilities team members to address cleaning and maintenance needs. This is a full-time, on-site day-shift position.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning equipment, methods, chemicals, and hazards.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards or willingness to learn them.
• Ability to use a smartphone to manage job tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and comprehend English.
• Professional interaction and trustworthiness when working around employees, visitors, and their workspaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands.
• High school education or GED.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in production areas, breakrooms, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, equipment, counters, doorknobs, windows, and light switches.
• Maintain restroom and breakroom supply stock.
• Perform light rug and carpet shampooing to remove stains and dirt buildup.
• Wash windows to keep them clean and streak-free.
• Use commercial vacuums, window-washing tools, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively.
• Keep common areas, including kitchens, breakrooms, and the lobby, clean, organized, and presentable for employees and visitors.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facilities team members to address cleaning and maintenance needs.
