About The Position
Custodians help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the Student Union Building, including event spaces, common areas, meeting rooms, and dining areas. The position supports daily building activity and events by maintaining cleanliness standards, responding promptly to facility needs, and assisting the Operations team with large-event setup and teardown as needed. The role offers hands-on experience in teamwork, time management, and responsibility in a fast-paced, student-centered campus environment.
Requirements
- Less than a high school education.
- No previous experience is required.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Must submit to a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of trash bags properly.
- Clean windows.
- Dust as needed.
- Assist the Operations team as needed, including with large-event setup and teardown.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
