About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers offering individualized treatment across multiple levels of care. The Custodian maintains the cleanliness and operation of the property and facility, performs routine custodial tasks, and provides operational support as needed. The role completes regular facility-upkeep checklists and reports completed work and concerns to the Executive Director.

Requirements

• No formal education is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified and honest character that models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of the property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties, including cleaning, restocking, and removing garbage.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility.
• Report completed activities and escalate concerns to the Executive Director.
