About The Position

Weiss-Aug is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout its manufacturing facility in East Hanover, New Jersey. The position covers production areas, offices, break rooms, warehouses, locker rooms, restrooms, and other common spaces. The custodian helps ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) where applicable.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous custodial, janitorial, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to speak English.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production support areas, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, and common spaces.
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using manual and powered cleaning equipment.
Empty trash, recycling, and designated waste containers according to facility procedures.
Clean windows, walls, doors, and other building surfaces.
Replenish restroom and facility supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
Respond promptly to spills and sanitation issues.
