About The Position

A clean, safe, and welcoming campus starts with a dedicated facilities team, and this full-time Custodian position plays an essential role in creating an environment where students and employees can thrive. You'll perform a variety of custodial and building maintenance tasks to keep classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and campus facilities clean, organized, and ready for daily use. You'll also identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards, helping ensure campus facilities remain safe and well maintained. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a positive impact through the quality of their service. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with students, employees, and visitors are essential. Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors, carpets, windows, and furnishings
• Replenishing supplies
• Setting up meeting rooms and classrooms
• Operating cleaning equipment
• Removing trash and recycling
• Assisting with snow removal
• Helping maintain secure campus buildings
• Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns or safety hazards
