About The Position

The Student Sweeper sweeps and vacuums floors in classrooms, hallways, stairs, auditoriums, gymnasiums, lounges, libraries, offices, and other areas as required. The role may also include emptying trash, removing gum, dusting, grounds cleanup, and other duties. Applicants must be at least 14 years old and provide an age certificate if under 18, and must provide proof of current enrollment as a Denver Public Schools student. Employees must live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with DPS and be able to meet the position’s physical demands, with or without accommodations. Applications will be received until October 27, 2026. If the position is not filled by that date, applications submitted afterward may be considered. Requirements

Be at least 14 years of age.
Provide an age certificate if under 18 years of age.
Provide proof of current enrollment as a student in Denver Public Schools.
Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with DPS.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without accommodations.
