About The Position

ICMS is seeking a dependable and experienced Custodian to support a customer facility in Los Angeles, California. The role performs routine and non-routine cleaning and upkeep to maintain the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of the building and its surrounding areas. The custodian follows health and safety regulations and PPE requirements, responds to cleanup and upkeep requests, ensures areas are stocked and equipped, and communicates issues to supervisors. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is hourly, with Health & Welfare Benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand and walk during the work shift.
Dependable and experienced.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of the building through routine manual tasks.
Clean bathrooms, offices, hallways, break rooms, lunchrooms, doors, and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing metals, and restocking dispensers.
Empty and decontaminate trash containers and take out trash.
Move, rearrange, and dust furniture and fixtures.
Clean windows and walls with appropriate tools.
Sweep sidewalks, porches, and tiled surfaces.
Report needs for minor building or equipment repair to a supervisor.
Fold microfiber towels and flat mops when assigned.
Water plants and perform other assigned grounds-related duties.
Maintain interior and exterior areas, green space, and parking areas.
Follow health and safety regulations and adhere to PPE requirements.
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified jobs.
Respond to emergency calls and cleanup and upkeep requests.
Ensure areas are well stocked, maintained, and fully equipped as needed.
Be courteous and professional during the workday.
Report issues to the direct supervisor and manager.
