About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and employee office common areas and ensuring procedures are carried out according to current NRI safety protocols. The role requires working independently, managing time effectively, identifying housekeeping needs and safety issues proactively, and reporting concerns to leadership. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a starting pay of $17.75. The position is located at 3591 Volunteer Blvd., Henderson, NV 89044.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including sitting for long periods; occasionally walking and standing; climbing ladders or stairs; and tolerating dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, and cold when entering the warehouse.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect areas throughout the distribution center during the day and keep the building neat, clean, free from clutter, and safe.
• Pick up and remove trash; sweep, mop, and vacuum; and use industrial cleaning equipment to clean multiple areas.
• Clean and stock restrooms, beams, stairways, windows, and other areas.
• Assist warehouse staff with restocking packing stations, fixing corrugated pallets, and related duties as assigned.
• Report minor maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor or manager.
• Maintain current housekeeping procedures and practice all safety procedures.
• Proactively identify housekeeping needs and safety issues and bring them to leadership's attention.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
