About The Position

As a Maintenance Worker, you will support one or more locations within a District by providing basic building maintenance and trade support, including custodial work and minor repairs. The role requires entry-level knowledge of areas such as electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, doors, roofs, and golf carts. You will help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, safety, and day-to-day operation of the facilities while working with minimum direct supervision and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–6 months of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards in offices, restrooms, exterior areas, company units, hallways, and other facility areas.
• Clean vacated units promptly and check that doors, latches, and alarms function properly.
• Conduct pest control inspections and take appropriate action.
• Handle and store chemicals and cleaners safely and in compliance with applicable standards.
• Monitor facility condition and report maintenance needs and potential equipment failures to the Store Manager.
• Perform minor nonstructural carpentry repairs and replacements on doors, fences, and buildings; may also perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Perform touch-up painting and landscape maintenance on the property.
• Ensure sufficient supplies are available to perform job duties.
• Apply general site-management knowledge, including customer service skills and daily operational knowledge.
• Perform other assigned duties, work with minimum direct supervision, and operate effectively on a team.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
