About The Position

Rydal Park, a Life Plan Community in Jenkintown, is hiring a full-time Custodian. The Custodian maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas, including resident homes, common areas, the dining room, and other locations throughout the community. The role performs cleaning duties and projects in accordance with approved department cleaning procedures. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with every other weekend from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. The stated rate range is $17–$19, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Desire to work in an environment involving daily interaction with and service to residents.
• Availability that may include evenings and some weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Prior custodial or housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned resident homes, common areas, dining room, and other community locations.
• Perform cleaning duties and projects according to approved department cleaning procedures.
• Interact with and provide daily service to residents.
