About The Position

Seabury is seeking enthusiastic, caring Custodians to work in its Continuing Care Community. The role involves housekeeping and maintenance work in a resident-focused environment. The ideal candidate has at least six months of experience in a similar position working with commercial cleaning machines and equipment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating weekends.

Requirements

Ability to read, speak, and understand English clearly.
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance procedures, practices, safety regulations, and guidelines.
Working knowledge of floor and carpet maintenance equipment.
Courtesy and cooperation when dealing with residents and staff.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, or push for the majority of the day.
At least six months of experience in a similar position working with commercial cleaning machines and equipment is identified as ideal.
