About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Custodian to perform general cleaning and floor care at an educational facility in Nashville, TN. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors while supporting the daily operations of the facility. Requirements

Must successfully pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check required for school employment
Ability to perform physical work, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, and pulling
Reliable, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Basic smartphone or computer skills to record work hours accurately
Ability to work in a smoke-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free environment

Responsibilities

Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Clean windows, doors, and other interior surfaces.
Remove debris from building entrances and surrounding grounds.
Set up and break down tables, chairs, and furniture for school events.
Perform periodic floor care and carpet maintenance during school breaks.
Perform porter duties, including moving boxes, furniture, and supplies, and completing other assigned tasks as needed.
Follow company safety procedures, cleaning standards, and quality expectations.
