About The Position
Cleans rooms and halls in commercial establishments. Replenishes supplies. Hangs drapes and rolls carpets. Cleans lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and stairways. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills and empties wastebaskets. The primary assignment for this role is the corporate office.
Requirements
- One year experience in janitorial or light building maintenance; or, combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Responsibilities
- To keep assigned building interiors clean and orderly; to perform a variety of custodial and minor building maintenance duties.
- Sweeps, scrubs and mops floors.
- Strips, waxes, buffs and seals floors as directed.
- Vacuums and cleans rugs.
- Cleans bathrooms, walls, fountains, windows and replenishes supplies.
- Empties trash from assigned offices.
- Reports necessary repairs to supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
