About The Position

Pritchard Industries is hiring a Custodian for the South Plainfield School District. The role involves performing building maintenance and cleaning to help keep the building and facilities healthy, safe, and sanitary. Requirements

• Follow instructions from a supervisor and complete tasks effectively.
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning experience is a plus; janitorial experience is also a plus, and training will be provided.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
• Remove trash.
• Clean restrooms and break rooms.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties to maintain the building and facilities.
• Set up for events.
• Use the auto scrubber machine.
