About The Position

HES is hiring a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas in an educational facility. The role involves performing a range of cleaning duties in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment while working efficiently and paying attention to detail. The employee must be able to work with others, take direction, and meet established production and service time frames. This is a full-time, second-shift position.

Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

High school degree.
Previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
Extract carpets and strip and wax floors.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Polish the outside area within 10 feet of entryways.
Wash windows and remove snow and ice.
Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry and interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or their designated representative.
