About The Position

ServiceMaster Facilities Maintenance is seeking a dependable Custodian/Janitor to provide routine cleaning and custodial services at an assigned customer location in Dallas (Galleria), Texas. The role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment while following established cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and service standards. The position is full-time and scheduled Monday through Saturday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Paid training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and career growth.

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow cleaning procedures and instructions.
Dependable and able to maintain reliable attendance.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
Ability to perform the physical duties associated with routine custodial work.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and other assigned areas.
Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
Empty trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Clean spills and address routine cleaning needs safely and promptly.
Clean and maintain common areas, workspaces, and other assigned areas.
Restock and organize cleaning supplies as needed.
Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions.
Follow established cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer requirements.
Complete assigned work independently and efficiently.
Report supply needs, maintenance concerns, safety issues, or other problems to the appropriate supervisor.
Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.
