Requirements

• One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Two years of experience performing custodial work
• Must meet the PA residency requirement
• Must be able to perform essential job functions
• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
• A conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial workers as they clean offices, treatment areas, and other facility spaces
• Guide staff in following safety procedures while working near clients, visitors, and coworkers
• Direct cleaning tasks, waste collection, snow removal, and vector control activities
• Teach staff the correct use of cleaning tools, chemicals, and disinfectants
• Maintain reports, supply requests, and documentation for custodial operations
• Assist management with improving procedures and evaluating sanitation standards
