Requirements

Successful completion of the Electrician Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Four years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Possession of an active motor vehicle license
Meet the PA residency requirement
Able to perform essential job functions
Conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
Conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and upkeep on laundry machinery and other electrical equipment throughout the hospital
Service fire alarm components to ensure safe and reliable operation
Maintain wiring, fixtures, switches, and related systems across multiple hospital buildings
Service battery powered trucks and provide personal trade tools for daily tasks
Carry out approved removal and encapsulation tasks while following safety standards and training requirements
