PM Custodial Supervisor

About The Position

Life Protect 24/7 is seeking a self-motivated Custodial Supervisor to lead its custodial team, maintain high-quality cleaning standards, and provide ongoing employee training and support. The role involves hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and organization to maintain an effective custodial operation. The supervisor works alongside the team and supports overnight operations, while conducting quality checks across both AM and PM shifts. The position pays $19 per hour and is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., five days per week. Physical duties include prolonged standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing, twisting, reaching, repetitive cleaning motions, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating backpack and handheld industrial vacuum cleaners.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
3–5 years of outstanding custodial experience.
1–2 years of supervisory experience.
Experience working with cleaning routines.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work well with others on a team.
Ability to receive and respect coaching and training.
Ability to interact professionally, politely, and courteously with staff, peers, supervisors, and management.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, twist, and reach.
Ability to perform repetitive motions such as scrubbing or wiping.
Ability to work with chemical substances and other cleaning materials.
Ability to operate backpack and handheld-style industrial vacuum cleaners.

Responsibilities

Train custodial staff on proper cleaning methods and procedures.
Provide ongoing support to overnight shifts.
Perform quality control checks on both AM and PM custodial shifts.
Work alongside the custodial team daily, fostering teamwork and shared accountability and leading by example.
Address cleaning-related concerns independently.
Handle non-emergency issues on-site.
Supervise employee relations needs, including leave requests, call-outs, and shift coverage.
Oversee supply inventory and ordering.
