Custodial Supervisor
About The Position
The Supervisor assists management in overseeing and managing assigned governmental contracts. The position safely oversees and performs duties detailed in the PWS or other contracted services, while providing quality customer service. Knowledge of and willingness to learn all aspects of the job are required. Most work takes place indoors. The role may involve travel among locations and buildings throughout the year and in varying weather conditions, working with cleaning chemicals, and following the Emergency Operations Work Assignment according to customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change and may include early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Duties may include snow removal from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using shovels or snowplows. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for assignment to the specified contracts and pass applicable organizational screening, including state or federal background screenings. Drug testing is required.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in custodial services.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- Experience dealing with government personnel or customers concerning contracted services.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to interact appropriately with customers and team members.
- Good written and verbal management communication and people skills.
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence, a satisfactory driving record, and eligibility for coverage under the corporate policy.
- Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contracts.
- Pass organizational screening requirements, including applicable state or federal background screenings.
- Pass drug testing.
- Ability to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above the head, sit to drive, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and perform snow removal when required.
