About The Position

The Salvation Army Branson Corps in Branson, Missouri, is seeking a Custodial Maintenance individual responsible for the general upkeep of the Corps building, grounds, and general custodial duties. This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. The role involves performing building upkeep, assisting with preventive maintenance, maintaining grounds, noting repairs, managing inventory of cleaning supplies, and maintaining housekeeping in janitorial rooms. Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED with one-year related work experience. Combination of training and experience will be considered.
Ability to read and comprehend a job description, cleaning instructions, and material safety data sheet.
Basic communication skills to facilitate good communications between visitors and other employees.
Have a valid driver’s license and pass The Salvation Army MVR check.

Responsibilities

Perform building upkeep duties including dusting, window washing, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors and steps, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets.
Complete a weekly check of facilities for readiness of Sunday Services.
Assist with preventive maintenance and other minor maintenance, including furnace filters.
Maintain Corps grounds to include yard work, trash removal, snow removal, lawn mowing, and any additional outside repairs as necessary.
Assist with any small or minor repairs and note any major repair that needs to take place in the buildings.
Assist with up-to-date inventory of cleaning supplies and custodial equipment.
Maintain proper housekeeping in janitorial rooms.
