About The Position

This role involves assisting with interior and exterior janitorial needs, building maintenance, and groundskeeping. The position requires the ability to move furniture, equipment, or fixtures, and assist with various landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and transplanting. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of grounds and maintenance work methods, tools, materials, and equipment, as well as techniques for mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming. Proficiency in the proper use of cleaning products and equipment is essential, along with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and understand labels and directions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of methods, tools, materials and equipment used in grounds and maintenance work.
• Knowledge of methods and techniques of mowing, edging, pruning and trimming.
• Ability to properly use of cleaning products and equipment
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions
• Ability to read and understand labels and directions
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the interior and exterior janitorial needs, building maintenance, and ground keeping assignments.
• Assists in moving furniture, equipment, or fixtures as required.
• Assists with the planting, pruning, fertilizing, and transplanting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and bushes etc.
