About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness of the plant’s facilities. This role involves maintaining a clean and sanitary environment throughout the facility, including restrooms, canteen areas, offices, and common spaces. The custodian will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure the plant meets high standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

Good communication skills.
Team player with a good attendance history.
Able to work without close supervision.
Ability to multi-task.
Must be able and willing to work required hours and overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop restrooms, clean commodes, urinals, sinks, and mirrors.
Empty trash cans in various locations.
Fill paper holders in restrooms as needed.
Sweep and mop the canteen area, clean tables, and ensure condiments are accessible.
Fill napkin holders in the canteen.
Clean and wipe canteen machinery.
Keep restrooms and canteen walls free of grease.
Sweep the employee entrance.
Sweep aisles in the locker area and keep trash off lockers.
During summer months, prepare liquid drink mix and ensure cups are available in the canteen.
Clean water fountains.
Sweep and mop quality assurance and supervisor’s offices.
Vacuum or sweep front offices, dust as needed, mop as needed, and empty trash.
Requisition cleaning supplies as needed.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
