About The Position

The Custodial Cleaner follows a cleaning schedule and completes cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, professional, hygienic, and well-presented working environment for office staff. Duties cover office spaces, desks, meeting rooms, kitchens, and toilets, and include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, disinfecting, trash removal, and dishwashing. The cleaner also replenishes supplies and kitchen consumables, tracks cleaning-supply inventory, cleans coffee machines and other kitchen equipment, and reports maintenance or cleaning issues. The position is onsite and full-time, with overnight hours Monday through Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Compensation is $19.84–$20.60 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in an office or commercial environment.
• Good knowledge of cleaning practices, equipment, and health and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle basic cleaning tasks safely and efficiently.
• Experience working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow a cleaning schedule and complete assigned cleaning tasks.
• Clean office areas, desks, meeting rooms, kitchens, and toilets.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors; wipe surfaces and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and workstations.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
• Replenish supplies and kitchen consumables where required.
• Track inventory for cleaning supplies and disposables.
• Clean coffee machines and other kitchen equipment.
• Wash dishes.
• Maintain all areas to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or cleaning issues.
