About The Position

The Custodial Associate performs custodial and other miscellaneous duties to maintain store cleanliness and positively impact customers’ in-store experience. The role cleans sales floors, offices, stockrooms, salons, restrooms, and other store areas according to company cleanliness standards, while working safely and avoiding damage to the building or finishes. The associate maintains cleaning supplies and equipment in operable condition, arranges repairs when necessary, and communicates reordering needs to the General Manager when applicable. The position also includes greeting and assisting customers, partnering with Sales Associates when customers need more detailed product information, following company waste and hazardous-material processes, and performing other support duties as assigned. Associates are expected to meet established standards for sales, customer service, productivity, and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Clean the sales floor, offices, stockrooms, salon, restrooms, and other store areas according to company standards and safe practices.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and keep equipment in operable condition; arrange repairs when needed.
• Communicate supply reordering needs to the General Manager when applicable.
• Greet and assist customers in finding products and provide outstanding customer service.
• Partner with Sales Associates when customers need more detailed product information.
• Perform other support duties as assigned by a supervisor.
• Follow company processes for trash, recycling, and hazardous materials.
• Meet established performance standards, including product and service sales, customer service, productivity, and attendance.
