Gateway - Custodial Assistant Manager (Ages 18+)
About The Position
The Custodial Assistant Manager oversees custodians and helps ensure guests and employees have a positive experience. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, supporting chemical safety, staffing and developing the team, and keeping auditoriums, the building, and public areas clean and presentable. The manager may also serve as Manager on Duty. Theatre operating hours can run from 8 am to 1 am; early-morning custodial shifts typically start between 5 am and 8 am, and overnight custodial shifts typically start between 10 pm and 12 am.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of management experience.
- Exceptional leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Passion for teaching and developing the team.
- Ability to handle high levels of stress in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for walking, standing, and twisting.
- Willingness to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Oversee activity in the Megaplex.
- Keep the theatre clean and safe.
- Ensure the building and public areas are clean and presentable.
- Lead and develop the custodial team.
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
