About The Position

This position is responsible for fulfilling customers’ online curbside orders and supporting customer loyalty and satisfaction through fast, friendly, and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection. The team member works with customers, other team members, and leadership to provide courteous service and an easy shopping experience. Duties include receiving and fulfilling daily orders, selecting and bagging products according to standards, storing items in the staging area in accordance with food safety guidelines, and keeping the work environment clean and neat. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong communication skills.
General awareness of food safety regulations.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of experience in a Meijer store.
Past cashier experience.

Responsibilities

Provide remarkable service in the curbside pickup area through fast, friendly, and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
Interact courteously and respond to customer questions and needs in person and by phone.
Resolve customer complaints promptly, contacting leadership when needed.
Receive workflow from the dashboard and fulfill orders for the day.
Select products in the store and bag them appropriately according to bagging standards.
Store products correctly in the staging area while following food safety guidelines.
Greet customers and collect payment for orders.
Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
