About The Position

The Curbside Clerk is responsible for fulfilling customers’ online curbside orders and creating a convenient, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders accurately and efficiently, collecting payment, and supporting customers from order fulfillment through carside pickup. The clerk works with store technology and daily workflow tools, follows food safety and bagging standards, and helps keep the curbside area ready for pickups. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
At least 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.
Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
Greet customers courteously in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
