About The Position

The Curbside Clerk is responsible for fulfilling customers’ online curbside orders and creating a smooth, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders quickly and accurately, collecting payment, and providing helpful service throughout the pickup process. Team members receive daily workflows through a dashboard and work throughout the store and curbside pickup area, following product-scanning, bagging, staging, and food-safety procedures. The position also includes keeping the curbside area clean and ready for pickups and supporting other tasks as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
At least 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures in an efficient and consistent way.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection during carside pickups.
Greet customers courteously in person and by phone and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select products throughout the store, scan and verify items, and bag them according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food-safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
