About The Position

The Curbside Clerk is responsible for fulfilling customers’ online curbside orders and providing a convenient, accurate pickup experience. The role involves shopping and verifying products, preparing and staging orders, collecting payment, and serving customers at the curbside pickup area. The clerk works with customers, store team members, and leadership to support customer satisfaction and smooth store operations. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
At least 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.
Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, remarkable service in the curbside pickup area and support the carside pickup experience.
Fulfill customer orders accurately and collect payment.
Greet customers in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
