About The Position

The Curbside Clerk, also described as a Digital Clerk, fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and creates an accurate, convenient pickup experience. The role involves shopping for and verifying products throughout the store, preparing and staging orders according to food-safety and bagging standards, and providing friendly service at the curbside pickup area. The clerk receives workflow through a dashboard and may support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.
Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, remarkable service at the curbside pickup area by accurately fulfilling orders and collecting payment during carside pickups.
Greet customers in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag them appropriately according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food-safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
