About The Position

The Culinary Services Assistant serves residents and guests in the dining room and supports food service operations at Waterford at Plano, a Sonida Senior Living community in Plano, Texas. The role includes assisting with food and drink preparation, serving snacks, maintaining refreshment centers, cleaning dishes, and setting up and taking down dining areas. The assistant follows safety and sanitation procedures and an assigned work schedule to support effective food service and compliance with governmental regulations.

Requirements

One to two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
More than 12 years of education, a high school diploma, or a GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room professionally and according to established procedures.
Assist with drink and food preparation for residents.
Complete assigned cleanup, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas.
Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock items in residents’ common-area refreshment centers.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to support compliance with governmental regulations.
Adhere to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to ensure effective food service.
