About The Position

The Culinary Floor Attendant provides dining services to residents and guests on the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care floors, ensuring that fine dining service standards are met. The role contributes to a high-quality, consistent, and creative culinary experience and focuses on exceeding dining expectations.

This casual position is at Amica Aurora Promenade, with listed hours of 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and pay of $19.25.

Requirements

• One year of experience in a variety of dining environments.
• Strong service orientation and demonstrated knowledge of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with the public using tact and discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency when required.
• Willingness to obtain a Food Handling Certificate.
• Willingness to obtain Smart Serve or another approved alcohol service certificate.
• Willingness to obtain additional training through behaviour support and memory care learning modules.
• Patience, understanding, and compassion for residents with impaired physical and cognitive abilities.
