About The Position

Silverado Aspen Park is hiring a part-time Culinary Aide to help create a warm, nourishing, and welcoming dining experience for residents in a memory care community. The role combines food service skills, attention to detail, and hospitality, supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. The anticipated pay range is $16–$20 USD.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Dependability, eagerness to learn, and ability to thrive in a team-focused environment.
• Care, consistency, integrity, respect, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food service areas.
• Deliver resident meal carts and stock refrigerators.
• Set and clean dining areas to ensure a pleasant mealtime experience.
