About The Position

Silverado Aspen Park is hiring a part-time Culinary Aide to help provide residents with a warm, nourishing, and welcoming dining experience. The position combines food service tasks, attention to detail, and hospitality in a team-focused memory care setting serving people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. The role involves active work, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be comfortable working around animals and pets. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food service areas.
• Deliver resident meal carts and stock refrigerators.
• Set and clean dining areas to support a pleasant mealtime experience.
