About The Position

Join the ASC Team as a Culinary Aide at Hickory Creek Scottsburg. In this PRN role, you will help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals by assisting with meal preparation and service and maintaining a clean work environment. You will work with culinary leaders and service staff to support residents’ dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in sanitation or safe food handling is preferred, unless required by state or federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Prior restaurant server experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
