About The Position

Silverado Aspen Park is hiring a Culinary Aide to help create a warm, nourishing, and welcoming dining experience for residents. The role combines food service skills, attention to detail, and hospitality in a memory care setting serving individuals with neurodegenerative conditions.

This is a PRN (per diem) AM-shift position scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The anticipated pay range is $16–$20 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food service areas.
• Deliver resident meal carts and stock refrigerators.
• Set and clean dining areas to provide a pleasant mealtime experience.
