About The Position

The Culinary Aide assists with meal preparation and service to help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals. The role supports the culinary team in providing a positive dining experience and maintaining a clean, sanitary work environment. The position is listed as full-time evenings at North Capitol.

Requirements

Commitment to customer service.
Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

Certification in sanitation or safe food handling, unless required by state or federal agencies. Certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
Prior restaurant server experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ dietary requirements.
Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
