CT Technologist - Varied Shifts - Alternating Saturdays and Sundays
About The Position
Under the direction of the Department Director and the day-to-day supervision of the Lead Technologist and/or Manager, and in close collaboration with Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards, utilizing age-specific criteria. The role serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and medical staff; participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities; and serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and Radiologists. The technologist participates in the call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet department staffing needs. The position is with Saint Johns Health Center and is part of Providence’s patient-focused, whole-person care culture.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
- Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist credential.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Within one year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography credential.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience performing pediatric and adult CT scans in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.
