About The Position
According to established policies, procedures, and protocols, the CT Scan Technologist performs computed tomography procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and assists a licensed practitioner with interventional computed tomography procedures. The position is sign-on bonus eligible.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
- Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT, or certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB.
- At least 6 months of experience as a CT Scan Technologist or completed documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
- Obtain advanced-level certification in computed tomography from ARRT or NMTCB within 18 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist a licensed practitioner with interventional computed tomography procedures.
