About The Position

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) provides prompt, efficient, courteous, and quality service to customers in a convenience store and gasoline sales environment. The role includes greeting and assisting customers, operating a cash register, handling money, assisting with fuel dispensers, checking product expiration dates and facing products, and performing light janitorial duties and other assigned tasks. The position is hourly and non-exempt, with a morning or afternoon schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Duties and responsibilities may change based on business needs and organizational requirements.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a convenience store environment.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and abide by the Dress Code Policy.
• Must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor toward customers and fellow employees.
• Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service to customers.
• Greet and assist customers.
• Operate a cash register to enter convenience store and gasoline purchases; assistance is available if needed.
• Account for all monies, cigarettes, and lottery tickets on the assigned shift.
• Check product expiration dates and face off product.
• Follow proper safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with fuel dispensers, cash handling, light janitorial duties, and other duties as assigned.
