About The Position

The Crossdock Associate performs warehouse functions in a distribution center or warehouse, including handling loose freight, loading and unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products. The role requires working cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision while following company safety policies and procedures. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with overtime as required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may not be air-conditioned or heated and may fluctuate in temperature with the seasons.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Computer experience, such as with order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks while considering product weight, size, and characteristics.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help maintain the facility in a clean, neat, and orderly condition.
• Provide outstanding customer service by attending to details and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to help ensure safe working conditions for oneself and others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
