About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for keeping the machine running during their shift and producing items that meet established specifications. The role focuses on safety, quality, and housekeeping, including operating in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the machine functions safely in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Understand bottle quality requirements and document those requirements.
• Sustain production-machine efficiencies and scrap levels in line with company goals.
• Communicate machine-, process-, and quality-related issues effectively.
• Diagnose problems and troubleshoot tasks logically.
• Follow direction from supervisors and managers.
• Perform color changes when required.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on machines during the shift.
• Complete quality inspections and record them in statistical process control software.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues on specific plant processes.
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed to support the plant.
