About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Cross Docker at its Miami distribution center. The role is responsible for unloading cross-dock products from trailers, scanning and sorting products by batch, and placing products on the case system. No prior experience is required; training is provided by a dedicated training team. The work involves being on your feet for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in extreme cold or hot conditions.

The schedule is Sunday from 4:00 PM to midnight and Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Starting pay is $22.95 per hour, including a $1.00 second-shift premium. Employees can earn two pay raises in their first year and additional hourly pay for speed and efficiency. The position requires availability for holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, benefits and company information, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 100 pounds.
