About The Position

The Cross-Dock Worker handles warehouse shipping and receiving activities, including receiving and putting away inbound products, picking products for orders, and moving products to staging areas or delivery trucks. The role may include operating manual or powered warehouse equipment and maintaining orderly work areas. The position follows established company policies, procedures, and supervisor-provided guidance. It is not responsible for supervising employees.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
Ability to follow standard procedures and clear directions, using supervisor or manager guidance for assignments and priorities.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including occasional standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior experience operating PIT equipment, such as forklifts or order pickers.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound products and put them away in designated locations.
Pick the correct products from appropriate locations and deliver them to staging areas or delivery trucks.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products within the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Assume other duties as assigned.
