Cross-Dock Worker

About The Position

LKQ Corporation is hiring a Cross-Dock Worker to support warehouse shipping and receiving activities. The role includes processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The employee may operate manual or powered equipment to transport products. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM; some Saturdays may be required. Pay is $20.00 per hour. This position does not supervise employees.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally; may write brief messages and keep simple records.
Ability to follow standard procedures and clear directions, using supervisor or manager guidance and priorities.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior experience operating PIT equipment such as a forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Assume other duties as assigned.
