About The Position

This cross-border team schedule runs 5 days out and averages 5,000 miles per week. The routes include departing Mississauga Friday evening to Ohio, then reloading to Alberta. From Alberta, the route goes to Manitoba, then reloads to Illinois or Ohio before returning to Mississauga. Another route involves departing Mississauga to the U.S. and returning to Mississauga. Driving Highway 17 in Ontario is required 12 months a year. Additional work may be available upon request, and freight and destinations might vary occasionally. Hours and days of work may change according to operational demands.

Requirements

• Established Owner-Operator team
• Qualified team partner
• Valid Class 1/AZ License
• Qualified to drive in the U.S.
• Eligible to cross the U.S. border
• 6 months of HWY17 experience
• Willingness to haul commodities including meat and alcohol
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
