Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for Texas CRNA licensure or currently licensed in Texas
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a medically directed anesthesia care team model
• Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams within a medically directed care team model
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgical procedures
• Provide post-anesthesia care and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia services
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
• Work scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
